Prospective Fellows

Interested in Becoming an LfA Fellow?

What can LfA offer you?

Fellows have their 3L and post-graduate years planned by the end of 2L year, and know they will have a fellowship income and health insurance to rely on post-bar in the public interest or public service sector they want to serve, but where jobs are limited as well as quite competitive.  Thereafter, for the fellows, the sky’s the limit:  their competitiveness in the job market is greatly enhanced by their 20 months of practical experience and their recommendations from practice sites.  Some past fellows have been hired by their fellowship employers; others have had amazing opportunities open to them.

Hear what past fellows have to say about their experiences:

Tamara Bartlett ’14 has continued in her career as a District Attorney, currently serving in Siskiyou County.  Peter Chau has served in several government agencies, currently as a contract specialist with the California Department of General Services.
